Hey Modem,

The running joke has always been that I would be here forever, and for the longest time, I really believed that would be the case. But...as many of you know, I've made the decision to move on to some other opportunities on the agency side. So alas, my last day at Modem is tomorrow.

The last two weeks have been very bittersweet for me. I'm comforted by the fact that I'm making the right move for myself professionally, but I've been thinking about all the great relationships I've made with people here. Being fresh out of college, I didn't think that some of my closest friends would become those that I worked with. With all that all of us share here, leaving behind the Friday morning breakfasts bonanzas, the side chats, inside jokes, storylines, outings, lunches, and other extracurricular activities which moved days (and nights) along isn't easy to picture. Thanks so much to you for being a part of that.

The other element that I will forever be grateful for is the amount I've learned about my line of work at Modem, and I'm incredibly appreciative to all those who brought me along, allowed me to shadow them, annoy them, answer my dumb questions, show me what the workplace is like, and from whom I absorbed so much from. Although painful at times, I would have gotten nowhere without it. It all worked out really well.

Hope to see you all down the road. Through all the changes, it's been great. Keep in touch if I don't do so myself...

As some of you know, today was my last day at PubMo. I regret I didn't get the chance to come by and say good bye personally. I am glad we got the chance to work together and look forward to the next time our paths cross.

As many of you already know, today is my final day at Chelsea Pubmo. Everyone has been great to work with and I'm sure that I will reflect back on my time here and miss the comradery and shenanigans. Thanks to advances in virtual reality, I invite you all to keep in touch.

Dear Brad,

As you know, tin is in my blood. For generations my family has worked with this most useful of metals. When I joined Yahoo! back in '21, it was a sheet-tin concern of great momentum, growth and innovation. I knew it was the place for me.

Over the decades as the company grew and expanded, first into dies and punches, into copper, corrugated steel, synthesized rubber, piping, milling equipment, engines, instruments, weaponry and so on, I still felt at home because tin was the core of the business...

Since the late 80s, as the general manufacturing, oil exploration and refining, logistics and hotel and casino divisions rose to prominence, I have felt somewhat sidelined.

By the time of the internet revolution and our expansion into Web Sites, I have been cast adrift. I tried to roll with the times, but nary a sheet of tin has rolled of our own production lines in over 30 years.

In my 87 years service, I've accomplished many feats, shared in the ups and downs, made great friends and learned a tremendous amount ... but there is a new generation now and it would be unfair not to give them a chance. Those that started in the make-work programs of the depression, on the GI programs in the late '40s and even those young baby boomers need their own try without us old 'uns standing in the way.

So please accept my resignation, effective July 12. And I don't need no fancy parties or gold watches (I still have the one from '61 and '76). I will be spending more time with my family, tending to my small but growing alpaca herd and of course getting back to working with tin, my first love.

Hi Everyone!

As most of you know today is my last day at Modem. It's definitely a bittersweet time in my life. I truly enjoy working here and most of all I cherish the friends I have made throughout the years. I have grown so much professionally and personally, which I attribute to the people I've work for and with. I've seen this company go through a lot of change, mostly good, but the thing that has remained consistent is the quality of people… that's what makes this place so special (regardless if we're called Modem Media, Digitas, or Publicis Modem)!

I'm excited to take the next step in my career and hopefully our paths will cross again. My new gig is only a few minutes down the road, and even better I'll be right above the bars in Sono… please keep me on the happy hour emails :)

Hi all,

As you may know, M and I welcomed our son, G, to our family in February. The past few months have been incredible. It has been an extremely difficult decision to make, but I have decided that I will not be returning to Modem. Even though I will miss Modem, I am excited to take on my new 24/7, small, demanding, and growing client.

Thank you all for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me during my time at Modem. My fondest memories have been getting to know everyone personally outside of client engagements, whether it be on car rides to clients, at volunteer/social events, or waiting in line for free bagels/ice cream. It has been a pleasure working with everyone, and I wish you all and the company the very best of luck! I look forward to working with you again.
