Subject: Thanks

Hi,

As many of you know today is my last day with Digitas. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for making my time here (albeit short) very rewarding. My new company is located in Post Office Square, so with any luck we’ll run into each other in the not-too-distant future. In the meantime, should you wish to reach me, feel free to email me at XXXX.

Best, WN

Goodbye

All,

For those of you who don't know, today is my last day at Modem. My departure from Modem is bitter sweet -- bitter in that I have truly loved the time I have spent here and the people I have come to know as friends -- and sweet in that my reason for leaving is to spend a year in London (and traveling Europe-;) for my fiancée's job transfer.

Thank you all for making me feel so welcome and I hope that we can work together again in the future when I move back to this side of the pond!

Cheers!

So long...

To my Modem friends,

I leave you all with just a couple of words: Buy BLUE Dog and Cat Food! Please.
(Now that’s a call-to-action.)

Goodbye and Goodluck from DS

To Modem Media ENO,

For those of you who don’t know me, you’re probably better off, those of you who do; thank you. Though I spent only a short time walking these halls, I made some lasting friendships and enjoyed working with all of you. Most of you already know that I am westward bound to sunny California and I cannot wait any longer. The lack of snow, beaches and perfect riding weather were too much for me to pass up. I look forward to all of that and more, but I am sad to leave. Some of you spent many a long night with me in front of pitchy work, XX work, XX and XX; I loved it all, you all hold a close place in my heart. To everyone else, you’re kinda close too, but not quite as close; don’t be sad, we had something special too.

I’m not sure what I will be doing in California yet, but I look forward to hearing from you, and I will try to stay in touch too. I’m very good at AIM, it is so immediate that it is hard to ignore; you’ll find my contact info below. If we were close then you are welcome to stay with me in Santa Monica, just let me know when you are coming.

Once again, thank you all for an amazing 4 months, I’ll stop by whenever I am in town.

Adios

After a long 9 year run, I have decided to move on from Modem. It has been an absolute pleasure working with all of you over the years and I wish you all continued success.

In lieu of anything witty that I can come up with, I'll leave you with this wonderful website to sum things up: http://iiiiiiii.com/

All the best,
MD

Bye-ku

It's very hard to say goodbye to this group, so I won't. Because I'll be hanging around so much you'll be thinking "geez, hasn't she left YET?!?" The last two years were both excruciating and wonderful. I owe the wonderful part to all of you, for the professionalism, intelligence, humor, dedication, IM's, shared all-nighters, emails, Wykus, alcoholism, and wild dancing (you know who you are.) Thank you for all of it.

As for the excruciating part, I can at least say I learned a tremendous amount, and I hope I'm a better marketer for it. And I still think we should all write a book together about our experience and make millions.

Please keep me on the cc list for all the good emails. You can now reach me at XXX, and of course on AIM or my cell.

So I offer one last Bye-ku:

I bid you adieu-
What a long, strange trip it's been.
You are all my friends.

:-P

TS

On Behalf of AD

Folks,

It's been 12 outstanding years here for TS, and we'd like to thank him for all that he's given and meant to Modem and wish him well in his post-Modem life. There is really no other option for the proper send-off but an evening at the beloved (?) Duck.

So, please join us this Thursday evening, December 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Black Duck Cafe (605 Riverside Avenue, Westport). My personal hope is to see T get so crazy that his well-coiffed hair ends up getting a bit mussed.
